The Power of VS Code, Python, Powershell

Moses ChungSeptember 28, 2023September 28, 2023 No Comments

My job situation has changed recently but it’s very interesting to see how my career is coalescing around VS Code, Python, Powershell. A lot of my Cloud and Code journey revolves around these tools and languages and finding the various ways of implementing them. Powershell (and its VMware extension PowerCLI) have been quite relevant from on-premises work in various areas while Python has been useful in both on-prem and cloud scenarios. With a unified IDE like VS Code running the show, it’s been quite interesting to see how this all plays out. It still feels like I’m drinking from a firehose though.

I’ll just honorably mention other tools like Git and environments like Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Arch….take your pick) but I’ve barely scratched the surface with stuff like that. I know it’s important but I have a long way to go before it becomes part of my regular tooling.
